The last Braumeister edition of 2022 is here! With Sticky Secret, master brewer Christina Stoll brewed an Altbier Bock (Sticke). This dark, red-brown beer impresses with a malty, nutty aroma and a tart note of hops.
The name "Sticky Secret" is derived from the style name "Sticke". The word "stikum, stiekum" (East Westphalia, Ruhr area) means "secret, inconspicuous, secret" - i.e. a secret = "secret". "Sticky" = sticky, alludes to the malty-sweet and full-bodied taste of a strong beer.

Camba Bavaria Braumeister Edition Nr 57 Sticky Secret

Rotbraun mit Kupferfarbenen Reflexen, klar und mit eher feinporigem, recht haltbarem Schaum im Glas. In der Nase malzig mit Beeren- und Dörrobstnoten. Im Mund verhalten aufschäumend, voller Körper mit Malzaromen und zarter Süße, ein feiner Röstton, nussig, eine Beerennote, Hopfenaromen und deutlich bitter. Im langen Abgang bleibt ein cremiges Mundgefühl mit Malzaromen und zurückhaltender Süße, zarte Röstnote, leicht nussig, der Hopfen legt noch etwas zu, begleitet von einer knackigen Bitterkeit. Ein schöner Altbierbock (Sticke) aus Seeon mit 6,0% und 60 IBU, schmeckt ausgezeichnet!
